In this 8-week studio lab, young artists team up to create illuminated installations that will be showcased in the Wizard Walk that is scheduled for Sunday, March 8th from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. What a great opportunity for youth participants to build creative leadership skills, make art and help bring the Mythic Trail experience to life on the Ora Anderson Trail!

B441 Kids Take the Wheel

Ages: 7 - 11
**Dairy Barn Members at the Household Level or higher enjoy a 10% Discount**
For Ages 7-11
School’s out! Come to The Dairy Barn for a clay day! This one-day class will give participants a chance to explore the fun muddiness of throwing on a potter’s wheel. Students will learn the fundamentals of centering, opening up a form and pulling walls. From there, creativity with the plasticity of clay abound, shapes can be altered, surface textures explored and accessories attached. The last part of the class will have participants adding colorful glazes to their creations. Finished pieces will be fired in the kiln to be picked up at a later date.
