An exciting art adventure awaits teens and tweens…in this class, students will learn the complete process of painting a masterpiece, from wood stretchers to the wall! Starting with the foundation of canvas stretching and preparation, participants will then plan and execute their painting with the culmination of hanging a group exhibition at The Dairy Barn Arts Center. 

What You'll Learn:

• How to Stretch and Gesso a Canvas: Discover the essential skills needed to build and prepare your canvas frame, ensuring a perfect surface for your artwork. 
• Painting Techniques: Unleash your creativity as you learn various painting methods and styles to bring your artistic vision to life.
• Art Exhibition: Experience the thrill of seeing your work displayed in a professional exhibition, showcasing your talent to friends, family, and the community.
