Have you found yourself wanting to draw an interesting face you’ve seen or someone you know? Unlock the essentials of portraiture in this informative and accessible day-long workshop, suited for beginners and experienced drawers alike.

Instructor-led exercises and demonstrations begin the day, with students practicing the basic forms and proportions of the human head. A live model will be present during the second half of the workshop for the ultimate opportunity to hone your craft with life drawing. With personalized instructor feedback, you'll sharpen your skills and gain confidence in rendering lifelike portraits. Students bring their own drawing pad (11” x 14” 80 lb. weight paper or higher) and all other materials for this class are provided. Students will work in pencil, various charcoals, and other dry black mediums.
