For Ages 16+

Join teaching artist, Alix Rondy, on a guided adventure with brush and canvas. Participants will create a unique 11”x 14" painting based on a common theme. This month's theme will explore the strange and colorful world of Picasso portraits!   His paintings did not stray from reality simply to create chaos- his abstractions gave us insights into new ways of seeing what is in front of us. Students will briefly study some works by Picasso, mainly his red beret portraits, and create their own original portraits - based on his style. Feel free to bring a photo to work off if you wish! 

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Neon Cow Bar will have wine, and beer available for purchase by participants over age 21. (Outside alcohol prohibited.)
