Welcome to the art of Nuno! Nuno felting is a cold-water wet-felting process that uses an open-weave fabric upon which colorful Merino wool roving designs are incorporated.
In this class, students will learn to use wet felting techniques to marry a length of natural, loosely woven material with merino wool to create a unique and stylish fashion statement. The resulting colorful and cozy scarf, adorned with fringe, buttons, or a simple shawl pin is destined to beautify your wardrobe.
Students are asked to bring 2-3 old bath-sized towels with them, and all other supplies and materials will be provided. This class is suitable for brand-new beginners and those with fiber arts experience, alike!
